Judy Lorraine Tweet, 65, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Peace Hospice. A memorial service for Judy will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel, 2425 8th Avenue North. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Judy was born on July 4, 1949 on the Naval Base in Honolulu, Hawaii to Ralph and Edith Jackson. She graduated from Flathead High School in 1967 and graduated from Great Falls Commercial College in 1968. In that same year, she married Fredd Samoy and was married for over 20 years, giving birth to two children – daughter Toni and son Warren. They would divorce and later Judy met and married Ron Tweet. Judy and Ron would be inseparable for the rest of her life. Judy started working at Opportunities, Inc. in 1968 as a Bookkeeper II, and she advanced to Fiscal Officer in her 42 years at Opportunities, Inc. Judy was active in the Great Falls community and served as bookkeeper and board member for the Youth in Crisis Organization and also worked with the Food Bank. She enjoyed gardening, camping, sewing, rummage saling, jewelry making; but most of all, she loved being #1 sports fan of her children and grandchildren. Judy is survived by her loving husband, Ron Tweet; daughter Toni (Matt) Willis; son Warren “Jugg” (Stacy) Samoy; stepson Donald Tweet; sisters Sandy Jackson (Charlie) Ireland, Beth (Bill) Myrer, and Jackie Jackson (Ray Galloway); three grandchildren Hanna and Mia Willis, and Theo Nicholson. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Edith Jackson.
