Kathleen "Kathy" Faye Johnson

Kathleen “Kathy” Faye Johnson left this world for her Heavenly home on Tuesday morning, November 8, 2022. She was greeted by her dad; brother, Steve; and stepdad, Tom.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Faith Lutheran Church.

Kathy was born on May 14, 1951, to John and Marian Johnson in Valley City, North Dakota. She graduated from CMR High School in 1969. That fall she attended MSU Bozeman to study nursing. Along the way, she made a career change and started attending Dahl’s Beauty School in Great Falls. She began her career as a beautician in Conrad, Montana in 1974. Later she returned to MSU Billings and received her degree in education. She was a substitute teacher in Billings before she returned to Great Falls in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her dad, John Johnson; brother, Steven; and stepdad, Thomas B. Franklin. Kathy leaves behind, her son, David Johnson and mother, Marian Franklin, both of Great Falls; sister, Barb (Ron) Martin of Fargo, ND; and brothers, Brian and Brad Franklin, both of Great Falls.

We would like to thank all the great doctors and nurses at Benefis Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care that she received during her final days.
