Kenneth A. Stenlund

Kenneth A. Stenlund, 84, of Great Falls, a retiree of the US Air Force and Civil Service, died on Friday, December 20, 2013 in a local hospital. Per Ken’s request no services are being planned at this time. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Ken was born to Solvey and Arthur Stenlund in Leonard, Minnesota. He joined the Air Force and during his career he worked on three different aircraft, three different missiles and finally in photo intelligence where he retired. Upon his retirement from the Air Force he went to work for Civil Engineering as an equipment operator until he retired in 1991. He married Olive Rambo of Missoula in 1955. He is survived by his wife, Olive; daughters Terry and Laura Stenlund both of Great Falls; son Richard (Lynda) Stenlund of Portland, OR; granddaughters Andera (Jake) Lundin of Portland, OR; Angelina (Schan) Carpenter of Great Falls; and grandson Casey Stenlund of Portland, OR. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to any Disabled Veteran organization is appreciated.
