Kent Carlyle Bulen

Kent Carlyle Bulen, 63, of Great Falls passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2 pm at Vineyard Christian Fellowship located at 1617 6th Ave N in Great Falls. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Kent was born on June 16, 1951 in Great Falls to John C. Bulen and Clarice N. Graves. He attended Great Falls High School and went on to attend the University of Montana. There, he obtained his teaching degree and a psychology degree. He then began to teach special education. He then moved around to different places to teach including Browning and Hot Springs, MT. He also worked with developmentally disabled teen at AWARE right here in Great Falls. He loved to work with young adults and often would work in homes for troubled teens. In 1982 Kent married Vicky Johnson. They had three children and lived on the northwest side of Great Falls. They divorced in 1999. During his life he was a longtime member of the Vineyard Church and liked the fellowship among friend there. Kent was a great outdoors man. He jumped at any chance he had to go camping, biking, or hiking. Taking his children with him, they would all pile in the car, to go on little adventures. Kent was greatly loved by his family and everyone who knew him. Kent is survived by his daughters, Rhesa Bulen and Jessica Bulen; son Jace Bulen; grandchildren Rhylee and Thaddeus Bulen; sisters Jamie Bulen and Sally Bulen; and father John C. Bulen.
