Kent Alan Seaton

December 5, 1949 — July 14, 2018

Kent Alan Seaton was born December 5th, 1949. He was brought into this world through the love of his adoptive parents, Perry and Marian (Giannini) Seaton. He completed the rank of Eagle Scout and went on to graduate from Montana State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Consolidation Coal for the first part of his career, which took him to live and visit many locations in the United States. He married Doris Warila in 1976 and they raised three children: Holly Erin, Megan Ilene and Clark Alan. Kent and Doris finally settled their family back in Great Falls, Montana so they could be closer to their grandparents. He worked as a civil servant for Malmstrom Air Force Base for 25 years in utility and systems design. Kent oversaw the base’s energy management and worked on several projects to reduce energy consumption. Kent was very proud of his home, proud of taking his family to see the country and enjoying both educational and recreational sights. He always emphasized a love of family and would say that the thing he was most proud of in the world was his family with Doris. Kent devoted a great deal of time to the Great Falls Americans Little League organization. He assisted as a coach, board member and president for 14 years. Kent’s leisure time was spent woodworking, watching movies, traveling, bowling, learning about new technology and enjoying good food. He loved country music and listening to songs by George Strait. As far as a philosophy in life, Kent felt that anything was possible through hard work and dedicated planning. Donations can be made in his name to Peace Hospice of Montana and Great Falls Americans Little League. Kent is preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Cara. Kent is survived by his children and their mother: Doris, Holly, Clark and Megan, along with her husband, Chris Norman and their two children Ruby and Rex. His laughter and giving heart will be missed. Graveside Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery followed by a reception at the Moose Lodge - 401 21st Street, Black Eagle, Montana.
