Krista I. Johnson-Marney

Krista Irene Johnson-Marney, 23, of Great Falls, passed away October 12, 2013 in Panama City, FL. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 3 pm at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Krista was born September 29, 1990 in Great Falls to Donald and Charemon Marney. She received her education in Great Falls. She assisted with dog grooming at Bark Central down town and also worked at the Cascade County Humane Society. She enjoyed swimming, crocheting, music, crafts, and spending time with family and friends. Krista truly had a passion for animals especially her dog “Posey”. Krista was a member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is survived by her parents, Donald and Charemon Marney of Great Falls; brothers Trace Marney of Great Falls and Kyle Marney of Hamilton; grandmother Irene Johnson of Great Falls; seven uncles and seven aunts. Krista was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin Johnson, Laiten Marney, and Bernadean Marney; and aunt Vickie Gates.
