Lawrence "Howard" Bradley

Lawrence “Howard” Bradley, 87, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Incarnation. OConnor Funeral home is handling arrangements. Howard was born in Bozeman to Lyle and Lilly Belle (Roth) Bradley. He joined the Army in 1946 and was stationed in Trieste, Italy from 1946 to 1948. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation medal. Upon his discharge, Howard returned to Bozeman and held many jobs. In 1950 he began working with Mountain Bell Telephone and Telegraph and retired with 35 years of service in 1985. Howard is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan; daughters, Virginia Bayless of Great Falls, Denise Gould of Missouri, Wendy Bradley of Utah, Marti Arends of New Mexico, and Robin Bradley of California; son Robert Bradley of California; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister June ORourke of Salt Lake City. He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Donald Bradley.
