He became part of the Hager family and continued to work with the ranch until his retirement in 1995 with Ramaldus and Magdalen. He continued to work with Mike and Teri Hager family until his passing. Lawrence was noted in the community for collecting aluminum cans from neighbors and friends. Mike would bring him in a stock trailer to recycle and he could tell the EXACT number of cans prior to the cans being machine counted. He was never wrong! He enjoyed playing cards and assembling puzzles and he had a special way with animals. You could always find his home surrounded by the animals that he loved and cared for. 50 or more cats were blessed with his care. Lawrence will be remembered as a loyal and honest man.
