Lois Ellen Stroh, 92 years, of Livermore, CO, died at her granddaughter’s home in Great Falls, MT of natural causes on October 9, 2024.
She was born in Loveland, CO to Thomas Beecher and Florence Elnora (Lasswell) Wright and grew up in her hometown with a brief stay in Oregon. Lois attended Lincoln Elementary prior to World War II then went to Klamath Falls, OR, returning to Loveland, CO a few years later and attending Loveland High School graduating with the Class of 1950. Lois married Richard “Dick” Stroh on August 2, 1957, and worked as a secretary in various places including University of Colorado, Westview Presbyterian Church, and Chapel in the Pines. Dick and Lois lived in the Longmont area, building their 40-acre farm on 95th Street and running Fox Pond Cattery before building in Glacier View and moving to Livermore, CO in the early 90’s.
Lois was preceded in death earlier this year by her husband of 67 years, Richard D. Stroh. She is survived by daughter, T Kaaminii Stroh; granddaughters, ReBecca and Jessica Frank, great-grandchildren, Kelsey Jinright, Joshwa Wilkerson, and Gabriel Albright; and great-great-grandchildren, Tae’Nia Moses (10), Bradi Wilkerson (4), Jamier Jinright (3), Izaliah Wilkerson (3), and Kelsey Wilkerson (4mo).
Lois will be laid to rest with Richard at a graveside service on November 6, 2024, at 3pm in Grandview Cemetery, 1900 W Mountain Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80521.
