Loretta was born on May 04, 1944, to John and Selma Eschenbacher in Havre, Montana. She was the second youngest of 10 children. To us she was our sweet Sassy Frassy. Loretta’s great accomplishments in life were her 7 children and all her grandchildren along with her great grandchildren. She raised her children with an open heart and open mind. She had eyes and a smile that would light up any room and brought joy to everyone around her.
She enjoyed the many camping and fishing trips to Seeley lake with her family, minus cleaning the fish. She enjoyed trips to Spokane to see Uncle Alfred, Bonnie, and Buster. Loretta was known for homemade bread, and bologna salad, later named mystery meat by her daughter. She enjoyed working at the Deaconess hospital in Central Services where she spent many hours.
She enjoyed the times when her family would take her for walks, long drives and go to lunch, or just spending time with her. She enjoyed going to the casino with her children to get out of the house. She was highly active within the Vineyard church, volunteering for various activities.
She enjoyed being involved with the Campfire Girls and selling enough candy to take her troop to camp Tawaginieo on Salmon lake, and for the girls that did not sell enough candy to go to camp, she would pay the difference. Still today her troop members remembered her and would tell her how much of a difference she made in their lives.
She is survived by her children Robert DeCoteau, Rose(Brad) Picchi, Susan (Mike) Drwenski, Shane (Kelly) Decoteau; Her grandChildren, Rebecca (Travis) Mansfield, Deiter (Melissa) Picchi, Andrew Drwenski, Justin (Chelsea) DeCoteau, Amanda Picchi, Betsy (Walter) Symonds, Annatasia Drwenski, Alexandra (Branden) Baker, Hayden and Miles Steiner, Kirsten Tucker and Liam DeCoteau; Her great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, Ember Picchi, Addie, Wyatt and Roslyn Picchi, Ryleigh and Seamus Jacobsen, Colton and Ashlyn Mansfield, Paisleah and Lyrica Symonds, Kylee, Brayden, Ayden, Zayden and Aria DeCoteau, Abbi and Saber Baker, and Natalie Drwenski.
