Louise Webster, 84, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She passed away peacefully into the waiting arms of her children Big Joe and Bernice. A service for Louise will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. She was born to the late Fred Martell and Anne Lamere. She married the love of her life, Joseph Webster. Louise was born in Havre, MT, but was a long time resident of Great Falls. As a child, Louise attended Franklin School, where she learned to embroider for which she was so well known. As an adult, she worked for many years as clerk at St. Vincent de Paul. Louise always took joy in family. Her days were spent with or thinking about her large family. She was so well known for her spirited personality that was larger than life. She was quick to speak her mind, but was even quicker to give you the last dollar in her pocket. Whether you were family or not, no one ever went without and everyone was always fed. Her interests included: gardening, watching wrestling, beading or embroidery while listening to Joe taping the Grand Ole Opry, just to mention a few. In her later years, Louise enjoyed long rides into the mountains with her husband or playing a game of bingo sitting next to her loved ones. Louise’s spirit will be carried on by her surviving children; ChiChi LaFromboise, Gloria (Bud) Komeotis, Rhonda (Cal) Gilbert, Victor Webster, Mamie (Dennis) Carter, Joe (Joan) Webster Jr.; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a few great-great grandchildren and her ever faithful and adoring husband Joe.
