Lucile Back

Lucile Back, 98, of Great Falls, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1 pm at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Lucile was born in Great Falls April 28, 1916 to Wayne and Carrie Hasbrouck. She was raised in Great Falls and attended schools locally, graduating from Great Falls High in 1934. Lucile married Herbert Back in 1939 and to this union three daughters were born. Lucile worked as a retail clerk at Graham & Ross, Hills Thriftway, Montgomery Wards, and The Bitterroot. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and especially working in her yard. Lucile was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Lucile is survived by her three daughters, Judy (Ernie) Van Vleet and Fern (Raymond) Voeller both of Great Falls, and Fay O’Guin of Arvada, CO; sister Beth Clark of Missoula; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Back; parents Wayne and Carrie Hasbrouck; two brothers Doc and Bud Hasbrouck; and one sister Carol Hasbrouck.
