Lucille Lundin, 80, of Great Falls passed away August 26, 2014. Graveside services will be held Friday August 29th 2014 at 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery in Cascade. O’Conner Funeral Home is handling arrangements. She was born Lucille Bull March 27, 1934 to Arthur R. Bull and Elsie T. (Wolf) Bull in Cascade. Mom married her sweetheart Ken Lundin while he was stationed at M.A.F.B on January 5, 1954 just recently celebrating their 60th anniversary. They were married in Great Falls on her parents Silver Anniversary. Lucille attended Great Falls schools after moving from Cascade. She graduated from Great Falls High in 1952. She was very active in organizing her class reunions, and truly enjoying every minute. Many of her classmates kept in touch with visits, cards and flowers which all made her smile! After her children were in school, Lucille took on clerical positions with IFG Leasing, Brennan Cooling and Heating and Hodges Plumbing. She eventually went to work for the Montana Department of Fish Wildlife and Parks where she loved every minute and brought her love of the outdoors to life in everything she did, especially her many years at the Natures Den at Montana State Fair. She enjoyed sewing, photography and was an avid reader. Lucille loved her flower gardens and her “very favorite” butterflies. She is survived by her husband Ken Lundin; daughter Peggy Lundin (Craig), Nashville TN; son Dan Lundin (Colette), Billings MT; daughter Nancy Stedman (Bill) of Great Falls; brother Ray Bull; grandchildren Rachel Boyken, Danielle Jackson (Jim), Crystal Caricaburu, Daniel (Krystal) Caricaburu, and Josh Lundin; great grandson Blake Jackson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins she adored. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Elsie; brother Herbie; and a son Mark Lundin. She was very kind, strong, courageous and loving her whole life all the way to the end. We are so blessed we had her in our lives and she has gone home to heaven where she deserves to be. She was the Sunshine of our lives and we all loved her so much and will deeply miss her.
