Luke Christopher Mears

Luke Christopher Mears, 47, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2016 at his home in Missoula, MT. A rosary service will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Funeral liturgy will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 also at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will follow the service at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Luke was born in Great Falls on January 14, 1970 to John and Helen Mears. Around nine years old, Luke started wrestling for AAU and he wrestled and graduated from CM Russell High School in 1988. He will be remembered by many memories and will be greatly missed. Luke is survived by parents John and Helen Mears; siblings Sharon McBride, Sheila Trexler, John (Lois) Mears, Mary (Jim) Heidlebaugh, Katherine Mears, Ryan Mears, Virginia (Randy) Griswold, Charlie (Crystal) Mears, Roger Mears, Andrew Mears, Colleen (Alden) Anderson, Monica (Joseph) Henning, and Teresa (David) Schraner; sister-in-law LaRay Mears; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Mears and sister Nancy Mears.
