Lynette Keen

Lynette Keen, 65, of Great Falls passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Central Assembly of God located at 2001 Central Ave. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Lynette was born on November 12, 1949 to Vernon and Virginia Rice . She was united in marriage to Marvin Keen and together they raised their daughter, Zona. Lynette worked at a CNA for over 35 years in the Washington and Oregon area. She was also a volunteer at the Central Assembly of God and enjoyed taking care of the younger kids. Above everything, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She helped to raise her eldest grandson from birth till he went into the Air Force Lynette loved the outdoors, reading books especially the Bible, and watching hummingbirds and butterflies. . She was very loving and caring, and was always will to sacrifice anything to those who were in need. She also accepted her daughter’s husband, Doug as one of her own children. Lynette is survived by her daughter, Zona McKinney; son-in-law Doug McKinney; grandchildren Edwin Keen and Frederick Keen; sister Kaye Sherman of Harlowton; and brother John (Cheryl) Rice of Yakima, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother Vern Rice.
