Lynn Dewitt Denney

Lynn D. Denney, born January 2, 1928, passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 94. His body shut down and he went be with the Lord, while his family was present by his side. Lynn is survived by his caring wife Elsie of 71 years; son, Steve; three daughters, Cindy, Kathy, and Carolyn; including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Diana. He served in the U.S. Army Calvary in Germany, and in the Korean War. He was a schoolteacher in various cities in the state of Washington. After he retired, his hobbies were raising and riding horses. He was a member of the Horsemen for Christ Organization in Great Falls. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 31, 2022, at Fairview Baptist Church where he was a member, 4428 2nd Avenue North, Great Falls. A military honor guard will conduct a ceremony to present a flag in his honor following the service.
