Margaret Marie Kennerly Coburn, 79, was surrounded by family when she passed away on December 23, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.She was born in Browning Montana on June 6, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents James Otis Kennerly Sr. and Julia Catherine Kittson, Sister: Betty Pearson; and brothers: James “Mad Dog” Kennerly Jr. and Jack Kittson. Margaret is survived by longtime companion Larry Whitford and dogs, Dora and E.B. Children: Elizabeth (Lemual) of Evergreen, CO Joe Jr. (Lynne) of Salem, OR Dugan (Vicki Chapman) of Great Falls, MT Janice (Bruce) of Great Falls, MT and Karen (Stephen) Grudier of Seattle, WA; grand children Raycen, Douglas, Malia, Selena, Josephine, Raquel and Keeley. Margaret lived in Salem, Oregon, and worked at the Chemawa Health Clinic until her return to the Blackfeet reservation in Browning Montana. She served as letter carrier to St Marys, and Babb for several years. She made her home with Larry Whitford at the ranch in Blackfoot, Montana.Together they enjoyed a life of Rodeos, restaurants, travel and family.Margaret enjoyed reading, travel, sports, community and her family.
