Marie Pfliger

Marie (Thurman) Pfliger, 73, of Great Falls passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Peace Hospice. No services are planned. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Marie was born May 10, 1946 in Benham, Kentucky to June Thurman.Marie was a cook her whole life and enjoyed the small town cafes. In her spare time Marie enjoyed cards. She was a mean poker player and I don’t think she ever lost. She enjoyed gambling and traveling. She had a gypsy heart. Later in life, her main thrill was playing cards with her great-grandkids. Marie is survived by her daughter Rhonda McGinley of Dillon, MT; brother Ray Thurman (Betty) of Virginia; four grandchildren, Conrad McGinley of Lima, MT, Tiffany Torres of Great Falls, Britany Rooley (Justin) of Dillon, MT, and Rebecca McGinley of Dillon, MT; and sixgreat-grandchildren, Quincy, Ivy and Cian Torres, and Gracie, Harlow and Alexander Rooley. She was preceded in death by her mother June Thurman; a sister Rosa Thurman and her husband, Bill Pfliger.
