Marjorie Elaine Bryan

August 2, 1926 — October 7, 2018

Marjorie Elaine Dietrich Bryan, wife, mother, seamstress extraordinaire, quilter, crafter, community volunteer and intrepid world traveler made her final trip to heaven on October 7, 2018 after 92 years of laughter and love. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Lawn Chapel, 1400 13th St. South, Great Falls, MT with Pastor Dave Strand officiating. Final resting place will be beside her husband in Spokane, WA. Marjorie is survived by her two children, Sharon (Robert) Balderston of Great Falls , MT and Mark (Maureen) Bryan of Bozeman, MT; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Marjorie was born in 1926 in Spokane, WA to Fred and Charity (Weston) Dietrich. She graduated from Davenport High School and Kinman Business College.She married her handsome Air Force Sergeant, Archie L. Bryan in 1945 and they traveled the world together.Their last military assignment was Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT.Marjorie worked as a secretary for Birch Construction and Ryan Wholesale Foods. She was a volunteer for the Cascade County Extension office and an active member of Big Sky Baptist church for 45 years.She loved sewing, quilting, and was often a first place prize recipient at the Cascade County Fair for her needlework. After her husband's passing, Marjorie continued traveling the world and embracing new adventures.Marjorie's legacy will be her strong faith in God, her hard work, her love of family and her infectious laugh. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marjorie's honor may be sent to Peace Hospice of MT, 1101 26th St. South, Great Falls, MT 59405.
