Mark Anthony Brantl

Mark Anthony Brantl, 63, of Great Falls, US Air Force veteran and safety director for Pacific Steel and Recycling died from cancer on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Peace Hospice. Funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 3:00 pm. Cremation had taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Mark was born February 2, 1950 to Norman and Theresa Brantl in East Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was happily married to Diana Barth from 1970 until she pass away last year on December 26. Mark retired from the US Air Force and then worked as a safety director for Pacific Steel and Recycling. Mark is survived by his mother Theresa Brantl of Breckenridge, MN; daughter Paula Sondreal of Phoenix, AZ; son Mark J. Brantl of Post Falls, ID; sisters Judy Bjerke of Mora MN and Laurie Carr of Bransville, MN; brothers Dan Brantl of Lisbon, ND, Steve Brantl of Manhatten, KS, Dave Brantl of Burlington, CO and Chris Brantl of Fairmont, ND and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Diana Brantl.
