Mary Ruth Christiaens

Mary Ruth Christiaens, 62, of Cut Bank lost her battle with cancer on August 21, 2020. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home and a celebration of life will he held on her birthday next year. Mary was born in Shelby, MT on June 4, 1958, to Frenchie & Neva Zuehlke. She attended school in Shelby and was married to Victor Fey on March 14, 1975. They later separated. She was a small woman with a big personality. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and doing puzzles. She had a love for camping, road trips, animals, and music. She is survived by her sons, Jesse (Kacie) Fey, Patrick (Billie) Fey, Philip Smith, and Joel Christiaens all of Cut Bank, and Cole Christiaens of Great Falls; grandchildren, Kailynn, Kamdyn, Devris, Darnelle, Skyler, Jayce, Kyran, and a granddaughter due in November; sisters, Winnie (Bob) Morris of Kalispell, and Judy (Mike) Norenberg of Shelby; and lifelong friend, Victor Fey. Mary was proceeded in death by her parents; and a cousin Rick who joined her in heaven on the same day. At the end of days, sin is washed away. Clouds of blue turn to clouds of gray. Our shell is broken, all worn out. No time for guilt, no time for doubt. Loved ones hurt & people cry, it is your time to journey to the sky. With us a bond that no one can sever, in our hearts with us forever.
