Mary Margaret Teague

Mary Margaret Teague, 82, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at the Ivy nursing home from COVID 19. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mary Margaret was born on August 29, 1938, to Finley and Alice MacDonald. She was the older sister to Charlie. She graduated in 1956 from Great Falls High School and married Delyal “Bud” Atchison. Their first child, Cheri was born in 1959, followed by siblings, Laurie, Tanya, and Michael. The couple later separated. She married Thomas “Tom” J Teague in 1972. They were devoted companions until his passing in 2012. Mary Margaret retired from the State of Montana to raise her grandson, Finley. She was a breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends. Mary Margaret is survived by a son, Michael (Tenlee) Atchison of Great Falls; grandchildren, Finley Burckhard, Dylen Atchison, Gina LaRocque, and Ashlee Atchison, all of Great Falls, George O’Hara of Portland Oregon, Daniel Burckhard of Great Falls; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother; husband, Tom; daughters, Cheri, Laurie, and Tanya; and one son.
