Marzel "Marty" Matz

Marzel Marty Matz, 82, of Great Falls, a retired businessman who served in the Army Reserve, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from natural causes, at a local nursing home. A private service will be held in the afternoon of Saturday, September 29, 2012 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Marty is survived by his wife, Marian Matz of Great Falls; daughter Pamela (John) Denham of Great Falls; sons, Patrick (Donna) Matz of Choteau and Paul (Maureen) Matz of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and grandchildren, Walter John Denham III of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dana Denham of Lynnwood, Washington, Michael Denham of Great Falls, Tricia Matz of Hilliard, Ohio, and Alycia Matz of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his brother Herb Matz of Barrington, Illinois. Marty was a devoted husband and loving father who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
