Michele Tramelli Mindt, 69, passed away at Benefis Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2016 of AML Leukemia. A vigil service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Funeral liturgy will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Holy Spirit followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Michele was born in Great Falls on March 25, 1947 to Elio and Marguerite (Hanes) Tramelli. She grew up in a happy Italian family full of love, laughter, and many good cooks. In 1982 she married her true love and caregiver Clyde Mindt. They were happily married for 34 years. Michele attended Collins School in Black Eagle, West Jr. High, and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1965. She completed and received her licensure as a cosmetologist from Dahl’s College of Beauty. Michele began her career of making women beautiful at Dahl’s Hair Fashions and continued for over 40 years. She owned and operated her own salon, The Marisha Chalet, for 28 years. She closed the salon in 1998 and fully retired in 2009. After her retirement it gave her more time to spend on what she loved most – her family, her faith, canning, singing, her pets, and feeding the birds. She loved a party and could have taught Martha Stewart a few tricks. If you ever left her home hungry, it was your own fault! Michele was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, after closure of Most Blessed Sacrament, where she sang and worked many parish breakfasts, dinners, and bake sales. Michele is survived by her husband Clyde of Great Falls; sister Laura (Mike) O’Neill; sisters-in-law Connie Williams and Carmaine (Doug) Hayes; nieces Tiffany O’Neill, Tami Miguens, and Abby Nicholson; nephews Casey O’Neill, and Aaron, Andrew, and Adam Hayes; many great-nieces and nephews; her aunt; cousins; and many wonderful friends. Michele was preceded in death by her parents Elio and Marguerite Tramelli; brother Doug Tramelli; nephew Jason Williams; and her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
