Miranda Gopher

Miranda Gopher, 57, our beautiful mother, homemaker, and artist passed peacefully with family by her side on April 20, 2021. A wake will be held starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, with a memorial service starting at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, both at the Little Shell Cultural Center. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. also on Saturday, April 24, at Highland Cemetery. Miranda was born on April 27, 1963, in Great Falls to Robert and Dorothy (McGillis) Gopher. She was an artist and homemaker who took pride in her beadwork. She was a talented artist with her painting and sketching as well. She also collected old magazines. She married Dan Edmundson and together they raised a beautiful family. He passed away August 2013. Miranda is survived by her son, Dakota (Dejanee) Gopher; daughters, Arlene Gopher and White Eagle “Weegs” (Chris) Edmundson; brothers, Glen (Rose), Blair, and Mike Gopher; sisters, Mary (Richard) Parenteau and Melinda Gopher; and three grandchildren, Keon Ormesher, Logan Gopher, and Namiko Ledeau; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan; and brother, Thane Gopher.
