She was well-known for her cooking, her sense of humor, her sassy personality and her loving hugs. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, her flowerbeds, and spending time with her family, while also being active in her faith at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Myrtle is survived by her five children, Dannie Polk of Lake Bay, Washington, Connie (Paul) Barnhorst of Helena, Sharon Hennessey of Helena, James (Susan) Hennessey of Great Falls, and Donna (Russell) Thunstrom of Great Falls. She is also survived by her brother, Leo Hansen, Jr. of Great Falls; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel; her mother Orpha “Suzie” Kellogg; and three of her siblings.
