She went on to attend the University of Great Falls graduating with honors with a degree in mathematics. Patrice worked as a medical transcriptionist for 42 years; first at Columbus Hospital, then for Benefis Health System, and for the last few years working from her home for Precyse. Patrice loved to travel and made trips to Europe, Australia, and Asia. She loved to read and spend time with family. She is survived by her brothers, Ken (Julie) of Chester and James (Cheryl) of Fort Benton; and sisters Yvonne and Rita of Great Falls. Patrice never married but was very close to her brothers and sisters, nephews, niece and cousins. Patrice was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Gagnon and mother, Genevieve Gagnon. While her health was increasingly compromised in the past several years Patrice never complained and was always available and generous with others. Her family will always remember Patrices generous heart, her patience with everything and everyone, and her continuous positive attitude towards life.
