Patricia Ann (Rice) Ough passed away in Davis, California on September 7, 2016 at the age of 85. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Born Patricia Ann Rice in Great Falls, Montana, Ann attended St. Mary’s High School and the University of Minnesota. Ann’s deep love for children lead her to obtain her teaching credential. She taught elementary school in Montana (Dupuyer) and California (Oakland). For over 50 years she made the San Francisco East Bay her home, living in Richmond, Berkeley and Oakland. She truly enjoyed and appreciated the diversity of cultures and vibrancy of the area. After her teaching career Ann sold and invested in real estate. She had a keen artistic eye and enjoyed making art in many different media as well as visiting local museums. Ann also had a passion for nature and gardening. She spent her last afternoon doing what brought her joy, picking flowers. Ann was preceded in death by her parents William E. Rice and Mary Rice of Great Falls, as well as siblings John Rice, Bill Rice and Pat Rice all of Great Falls, Mary Moore of Berkeley, CA, and Jim Rice of Whitefish, MT. She is survived by her daughters Sarah Leppich, Lucy Mann (Bob Mann) and Brenda Mohr (Karl Mohr), grandchildren Michael Curran, Katy Bayless (Jacob Bayless), Rachel Curran, Kyle Mohr, Timothy Mohr, Paul Mohr, great grandchildren Jasper Bayless, Quinn Bayless, as well as nieces and nephews. Ann will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet cemetery in Great Falls.
