Patricia was born October 12, 1938 in Hamilton, Montana. She graduated from Great Falls Catholic High School and completed her education at Great Falls Community College. Patricia began her career in Anaconda as a secretary. She later worked as a legal secretary for Jardine, Stephenson, Blewitt and Weaver until her retirement in 2001. Patricia was a devoted, active Christian in her church, Calvary Chapel. She was an avid reader and could often be found at the public library. She took joy in crocheting afghans for family and friends. Patricia is survived by her husband William “Hugh” Thornley, Great Falls; daughters, Joyce (Artches) Bell, El Paso, TX, Amy Dail, Great Falls, Bobbi Jean, (Gene) Thornley, Anderson, SC, and Sandi Thornley, Pocatello, ID; sons, James Furlong, Great Falls, Chris Furlong, Great Falls, Casey (Jackie) Furlong, Helena, MT, Buck (Tammy) Thornley, Burneyville, OK and Bill Thornley, Williamston, SC; a brother Lawrence (Norma) Trowbridge of Georgia; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Craig, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
