Penny L. Srb

Penny Lynette Crowder Srb, 58, of Great Falls passed away on Saturday, February 11, 22017 at Benefis. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Penny Srb was born June 13, 1958 to Betty and Stanley Crowder in Orlando Florida. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Billings, Montana, then later to Great Falls. She grew up in Great Falls, attending Emerson grade school, North Junior High, and then to CMR. Penny worked numerous jobs in town as a waitress and a foundry worker where she took pride in her jobs. She also worked at Montana Mental Health Center until her health prevented her from working.She fought for several years with COPD. She married Dave Srb and they spent 20+ years together until his passing. She enjoyed spending time with family and the love of her life, her dog Gizzy.She really loved playing bingo and had a favorite spot at the bingo games. Her sense of humor will be greatly missed and her love of family and friends will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace. She is survived by mother Betty Crowder LaMere; siblings Randy (Joyce) Crowder of Mississippi, Ron Crowder of Great Falls, Tina Fields of Great Falls, Rich (Teddi) LaMere of Kalispell, and Bobby (Joy) LaMere of Spokane, Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Penny was preceded in death by her father Stanley R Crowder; step-father Michael E. LaMere; and her loving dog Gizzy.
