Phyllis C. Karaffa

Phyllis Clare (Filbrandt) Karaffa passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the age of 86. Phyllis was born on July 21, 1930 in White River, South Dakota to Theodore and Clare Filbrandt. She grew up and attended schools in Billings and Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1948. Phyllis married her high school sweetheart Denis Albert Karaffa on November 18, 1950. They had 2 children, Jay Scott (Teresa) and Cydni Bryce Karaffa. Phyllis had 2 grandchildren, Joseph Tyler (Katie) and Sara Renee Karaffa. Phyllis also had 4 great-grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Denis; her daughter Cydni; and her sister Sue Lenihan. As requested, she has been cremated and no services are pending.
