Raymond Elliott

December 13, 1925 — March 13, 2016

Raymond John Elliott, 90, of Great Falls passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 of natural causes at a local care facility. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm at OConnor Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery. OConnor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Ray was born December 13, 1925 in Manson, MT to Harry Irving Elliott and Cornelia Willen Slim Elliott. He attended elementary school in Manson and completed high school at Conrad High School. He was drafted into the Army Air Force and served in the Philippine Islands. He then attended University of Montana graduating with a bachelor in Business Administration. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was united in marriage to Marlene Badke on December 17, 1963. Ray owned rental property throughout his life and loved working on his apartments. He was a past president of P.M. Optimist Club, and a member of the Elks Club in Great Falls. Ray was a long-time member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. He loved classical music and played piano since he was a young boy. Raymond is survived by his sisters, Esther and Dorothy; brother Carl Elliott; daughters Kathleen (Duane) Herigon and Karen Elliott; and grandchildren Elliott, Evan, and Emelia. He was preceded in death by his wife Marlene; infant daughter Rhonda Jean; brothers Austin, Joe and Everett.
