Richard Paul Gascon, age 73, born January 5, 1944 in Butte, MT and died April 25, 2017 at home of Parkinson’s and a few other things. At his request, there will be no funeral. We will have a celebration of life at a later date. It will be in the paper. Richard went to Franklin school and then graduated from Great Falls High School. After high school he went into the U.S. Navy and later the Navy Reserve for 30 years until he retired. Richard also worked at the U.S. Post Office and retired after 39+ years. He belonged to the Postal Union APWU for almost 20 years. When Richard was on leave from the Navy, he met JoAnne Windle. They hung around a lot till he had to go back from leave. About a week later, he sent for JoAnne to visit for a week. She stayed for a month and became Mrs. JoAnne Gascon. They were married for 51 years and had a beautiful daughter, Billie Jo. She is now 47 years old, and she still loves her daddy and he really loved her, too. They had a happy life together. Richard loved to fish, hunt, play softball, camping, stock car races, bowling; and taking trips to Kellogg ID and Spokane WA. He will be loved and missed so much by all of us. We will remember the fun loving man he was. We love you, Richard! – JoAnne and Billie Jo.
