Richard F Mathison

Richard F Mathison, 62, of Great Falls passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at a local care facility. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Richard was born on April 9, 1953 in Roundup, Montana and adopted by Morgan and Betty Lou Mathison. He was raised in Great Falls and later joined the United States Navy. He served as a secretary and Yoman for over seventeen and a half years. He was a member of the LDS Church and liked to read a good book. He loved to watch old movies especially the Three Stooges, any John Wayne movie, and other older westerns. Above anything else in the world he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Richard is survived by his wife, Marina “Ina” Villarico Mathison; brother Michael Mathison; sons Paul L. Mathison and Rick Mathison; and two grandchildren.
