Robert Alexander “Bob” Watson, 61, of Great Falls, Montana, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2017 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. A funeral liturgy will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2017 at Lady of Lords Catholic Church, 409 13th Street South, Great Falls, inurnment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Robert, known as “Bob”, was born at Columbus Hospital on January 2, 1956 in Great Falls, Montana.He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Montana State University – Bozeman. Bob was an avid “Bobcat” fan. Bob worked as a clerk and general manager at the Triple Crown Motor Inn for 20 plus years, and for the past 15 plus years worked at Sam’s Club. Bob enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, racquet ball, bicycling, boot camps, bible study, car shows, and garage sales.He loved bargains and was always on the hunt for a treasure. He donated his time by participating in community services, Knights of Columbus and with the Rescue Mission.He also handed out back packs to under privileged kids. Bob was the gentle giant, who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed anything, anytime or anywhere. Bob is survived by his mom, Lois L. Watson; brothers Dan Watson and Brian (Laura) Watson; sister Karen (Randy) Thovson of Scottsdale, AZ; nephews and nieces, Tyler (Elyse), Brady (Shannon), Trevor (Dawn), Teresa, Tara, and Tavia (Brandon). He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Watson.
