Robert Charpentier, 79, passed peacefully on December 4, 2020. Bob is survived by his bride, Jane of 59 years; his children, Kay Scott (Marilyn), Monica and Heidi; grandchildren, Marshall, Johnna, Wyatt, Torey, Keegan, Morgan, Molly, Nicole, and Cory; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Justin, Shanell and Waylen; Bob’s sister Lorraine; and brothers, Roger and Ronnie. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Lorrette and Leo; brothers, Joseph and Raymond; and grandson, Andrew Charpentier. Bob served his country for 20 years (Vietnam) and trained as a Master Chef at Cornell University, and later worked as a missile site manager. After retirement from the Air Force he worked at First Liberty Federal Credit Union and met lifelong friends there. The site managers met every year after retirement and the main topic would be the humorous things Bob had done. Jane has logged these many stories lovingly called, “Bob-Tales.” Bob knew every great fishing hole from Bermuda to Alaska, held a patent for a lighted tip up, and held the Montana state record for Walleye Pike he caught using a Zebco 202. Bob entertained us with singing French songs and playing his harmonica. He played Santa for Greenfield School and entertained children everywhere with his animal sounds and pranks. We are so thankful for all the wonderful memories his friends and family have shared with us and that is what he would want.
