Roberta “Bobbie” Jean Davey Stewart passed peacefully at her home on International Women’s Day. Survivors include daughters Debra Stewart, Sharon Stewart, Susan Stewart and Ellen (John) Stewart Dustman; a son, Robert Stewart; grandchildren David and Stacy (Raye Kriesel) Miller, Michael and Sandra Post, Sara Stewart and Benton Dustman; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Robert (Stew) Stewart. She never gave up and didn't let anything get her down. She kicked cancer’s stage 3 ass to live many more years. She loved games and competition and was known as “Nintendo” grandma because she loved to beat her husband at Super Mario Brothers. As youthful and playful as she was, her obligation to personal and social responsibility was paramount. She instilled in her family an unyielding truth that everyone deserves the same freedoms and sometimes you may have to hold a sign and March to earn it. She taught us to fight for what you believe in and that in a big huge world one person’s voice does matter (especially if you say it loud enough!) She was a prolific collector, but wouldn’t hesitate to give away every last piece if she knew it would bring joy to another person. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Rescue Mission of Great Falls, MT or PBS.
