Rodney “Rod” Peck, 51, of Great Falls passed away on February 22, 2016. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at O’Connor Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at O’Connor Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Rod was born on July 13, 1964 to Delbert and Lorraine Peck in Great Falls. Rod attended Collins School and graduated from CMR in 1982. After high school he went to trade school to further his apprenticeship in plumbing. Rod started his career at Central Plumbing and Heating and was employed by Tri-County Mechanical at the time of his death. Rod was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, riding his four-wheeler, jet skiing, and kayaking (acquiring the nickname “Fish Pole”). Rod had a caring heart and a gentle nature. He touched the lives of many and will be forever missed. Rod is survived by his son, Gavin Peck; mother Lorraine Peck; brothers Rory (Sarah) Peck, Rick (Christine) Peck, and Randy (Connie) Peck; his loyal dog, Jasper; nieces Raebeca, Cassie, and Meghan; nephews Matthew (Sabra), Stephen, Kyle (Ashley), and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his father, Del and his daughter, Jayleen.
