Roland "Rollie" Reuben Strutz

On November 25, 2023, Roland “Rollie” Reuben Strutz, age 90, stepped out of this world, and into eternity.

A celebration of life will be held at Harvest Springs Community Church, Great Falls on December 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be streamed online at harvestsprings.online.church.

Rollie was born March 21, 1933, to Reuben and Rosalie Strutz. Rollie married his better half, Bette Lou Finestead, on July 2, 1955. Rollie graduated high school from Billings Senior. He then attended Westmar College in LeMars, IA and after that he continued his education in Portland, OR where he received his Master’s in Seminary. Rollie served in many areas throughout his life, starting in Bozeman, MT, Broadview, MT where he was a pastor, teacher, and coach, Bismark, ND, Columbus, MT, and then back to Great Falls, MT.

Rollie loved hunting, fishing (God’s out of doors), and being with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Bette Strutz; daughter, Kim (Jerry) Tucker; sons, Kurt (Cheryl) Strutz, and Kal (Kaylene) Strutz; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Rollie was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Rosalie Strutz; sister, Rosalie Duehn; and brother, Robert Strutz.
