Ronald Jacobsen

Ronald John Jacobsen, 56, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Peace Hospice. Cremation has taken place by O’Connor Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Knights of Columbus from 3-6pm. Ronald, also known as Ron, was born on June 28, 1960 in Williston, ND and raised in Great Falls, MT. Ron was married to Leticia Jacobsen for 20 years, and together for over 30 years. Ron always loved spending time with his daughter, and twin boys. He spent 16 years with Shumaker Trucking and Excavating. Ron could always be found with his beloved dog Sadie. He was an avid hunter in his younger years and loved spending countless hours in the garage working on his cars or attending races with friends. His laugh and bad jokes will be deeply missed. Ron is survived by his wife Leticia Jacobsen; daughter Amanda Jacobsen, sons Kevin and Kalvin Jacobsen; mother Dorothy Jacobsen; sister Karen(Gordon) Boyd of OR; brother Kevin Jacobsen of NV; nephews Vernon Solley and Robert Solley; uncle Bobbie Lab of Culbertson, MT. He is preceded in death by his sister Anita Solley, and father Roy Vernon Jacobsen.
