Ronnie peacefully flew into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday March 2, 2016. Ronald Irving Outten was born to Marvin and Hilda Outten January 26, 1944 in Norfolk VA. My incredible husband of 41 years was, as a friend put it, “one of the kindest, gentlest souls” one could ever meet. He was also a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend like no other to a small group of very close friends. Ron was a man who truly knew how to treat a woman. For 41 years, he left love notes on the table, held hands when we talked, made the stars shine brighter, and danced in the kitchen with me. There will never be another like him. Ron Loved plants, gardening, construction work, painting houses, good music, and birds. A favorite pastime of his was rocking grandbabies and pulling candy from their ears. He was honorable and righteous. He was peaceful, Godly, intelligent, funny, spectacular, chess master, amazing, bird lover, honest, and HERO to many. But most of all he was the best husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather anyone could ever ask for. A SMOKIN HOT, RIGHTEOUS, HIPPIE. See you again my love. Dad you have always been there for me. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful earthly father. I remember flipping in your arms and getting dumped out of wheel barrows full of leaves into piles of leaves. You taught me so much about Jesus. Im thankful for every minute we had together. I will miss you but know we will be together again in heaven. I love you. He is survived by his wife, Cindi; sons Joseph and Zechariah; daughter Patricia “Suzy Q” and her husband Nathan; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and son Ron D.
