Ryan Lewis Zerka

Ryan Lewis Zerka, 47, of Great Falls and formerly of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.

Ryan was born on February 27, 1978, in Flint, Michigan to Mansour and Regina “Penny” (Kelush) Zerka. He attended Carmen-Ainsworth Community Schools. He worked as a steel fabricator/fitter for 24 years before becoming a steel fabrication supervisor. A position he has held for the last three years. Ryan moved to Great Falls just over a year ago and was quickly loved and accepted into the ADF Group. He will be greatly missed by his work family

He met Katie in 1999, and they married on June 10, 2006. Together they have two children, and he became a stepfather to Katie’s oldest daughter.

Ryan enjoyed playing video games with his son and watching movies. He was interested in both documentaries and anything historical. He loved spending time with his family whenever he was able. He could build or fix anything, was very handy, and loved learning new things.

He is survived by his wife, Katie; daughters, Rachel Javor and Savannah Zerka; and son, Connor Zerka all of Michigan; parents, Mansour and Penny; sisters, Amber (Kevin) Claspell and Gina (Amanda) Zerka; brother, Lewis (Sarah) Zerka; paternal grandmother, Shirley Zerka; six nieces; and four nephews. Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mayford Kelush Penhaligon and Lewis Kelush; paternal grandfather, Nazeer Toufic Zerka; and father-in-law, Richard Javor.

There will be a celebration of life from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, with speakings and readings starting at 7:00 p.m. all at the Holly Vault, 202 S Saginaw St, Holly, MI 48442.

We find comfort in knowing that Ryan’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
