Sandria Lin Rose O’Neill, 91, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 of natural causes.Per her request, there will be no funeral.A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Sandria Lin “Betty” Rose was born January 23, 1926 to Edwin Ivan Rose and Bessie Margaret Killorn in Livingston, Montana. She was raised in Livingston and attended school there.She married William T. O’Neill in Davenport, Washington on May 28th, 1944.From this union two children were born; Roxanne Jean O’Neill Bullard and Michael Brad O’Neill. Bill and Betty moved to Butte, Montana to pursue employment opportunities and remained there many years.While there, Betty worked at Silver Bow General Hospital performing clerical duties.She and Bill later divorced. Following their divorce, Betty lived in various locations in Montana, Washington and Arizona.In addition to performing various clerical jobs she traveled the western United States selling Bill O’Neill’s artistic prints.Eventually she retired and moved to Cascade, Montana to be closer to family.She greatly enjoyed the small community of Cascade and loved making and giving treats to many of the residents. She is survived by her son, Michael “Brad” (Diane) O’Neill of Camano Island, Washington and daughter Roxanne Bullard of Cascade, Montana.She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her father and mother. Because she loved people and loved doing kind things for them, the family suggests that those who want to honor her do an act of kindness in her name.
