Semelee Suzette Luinstra, 61, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, January 24 at the United Methodist Church in Choteau, Montana. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Semelee was born on November 4, 1957 in Great Falls, Montana. She attended the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind. She married Mike Luinstra and they lived in Choteau where they raised two boys, Kevin and Chris. Semelee was very proud of her children and took great pride in being a homemaker. Semelee was active in the New Song Church in Choteau and enjoyed socializing and visiting with people.She was an animal lover and loved to take care of all the animals that she could. Semelee also had the wonderful gift of being able to teach sign language to anyone.She was patient and caring with all those that wanted to learn American Sign Language. Semelee had the biggest heart! She was loving, kind, compassionate, and loyal to her friends and family. She leaves behind sisters Angela, Vickie and Lisa; sons Kevin (Heather) and Chris;grandchildren Nolan and Hannah;numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Hilda Tordale; father Jim Forrest; mother Shirley Dyrdahl; brothers Rick Lake and Scott Forrest; and Daughter Linda.
