Tamara "Tammy" Jean Brown

July 19, 1972 — June 7, 2021

A funeral liturgy for Tamara "Tammy" Jean Brown, 48, of Dickinson will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Great Falls. Tamara Jean Brown, lovingly known as “TT” by many of her nieces and nephews, reunited in heaven with so many loved ones on June 7, 2021, at the age of 48. She was born on July 19, 1972, in Great Falls, Montana where she grew up and graduated from CM Russell High School in 1990. After high school, she attended Miles Community College, Miles City, Montana and Dickinson State University, Dickinson, ND. where she received her degree in accounting. She was born to the late Wallace and Patricia “Babe” Remsen and grew up with five close siblings. Tammy married the love of her life, Brent Brown, in 2000. Together, they had two children, a son, Dillon and a daughter, Megan. She had a unique gift of spreading happiness wherever she was and whomever she was with. It did not matter if she knew someone for her entire life or simply 5 minutes. Her glorious smile and infectious laugh would light up any room. She had a beautiful ability to make connections with many people throughout her life. Tammy loved deeply and was never afraid to show it. Between her whistles, loud cheers, and sloppy kisses, she never went unnoticed, and we are all so thankful for that. She showed so many of us what it meant to love unconditionally and really did not care about who she embarrassed. Her love was always more important than impressions or appearances. Tammy’s love went beyond her love for people. She also had a fondness for animals, especially dogs. She even nicknamed herself, “The Dog Whisperer,” as she always thought she had a connection with them as well. Besides spending time with family and friends, Tammy loved spending hours decorating especially for holidays. She also loved planting flowers and her time at the lake. She always reminded us that our dad and sister were with us and that they would send us signs in the form of white feathers. Whenever we find a white feather, we will think of you together with your family in heaven shining down upon us. She is survived by her husband, Brent; children, Brent, Dillon, and Megan Brown; brothers and sisters, Randy Remsen of Great Falls, Rhonda Taylor of Valdez, AK, Sandy Bush of Twin Lakes, and Pam Schelfhout of LaCrosse, WI. She was preceded in death by her father in 1993; her sister, Brenda in 2003; her brother-in-law, Daniel Baker in 2020; and just recently her mother in May of 2021.
