Terrill Jack Morton

Terrill “Terry” Morton passed away on the evening of Friday, October 1, 2021, with his loving family by his side. Terry was born in Great Falls on January 25, 1943, to Thomas and Dora (Luoma) Morton and was a lifelong resident of Great Falls. He graduated from GFHS in 1961 and began his career as an Engineer Technician for the Forest Service and retired after a 42-year career. He married his "Buttercup," Nancy Hammer on August 15, 1970. They enjoyed a 51-year marriage and built a happy life together with their children and grandchildren. Terry is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Greg (Shelly), daughters, Angie (Mike) Henneberg, Jaque (Brad) Davis, and Marci Todd; brother, Tony (Vicki and Derek); and grandsons, Miles, Caleb, Tyler, and Eli Morton; granddaughters, Haleigh and Kendal Henneberg; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Thomas E. Morton Jr. and Timothy D. Morton. Terry was a friendly soul who loved spending time with his family, golfing with his friends, and settling his bets at their 19th hole, the OP. He will forever be missed.
