Terry Elwood Brus

Terry Elwood Brus, 70, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. He was born December 23, 1947 to Robert and Marvella Brus. He joined the Air Force right after high school and was stationed at Malmstrom AFB, where he met his wife, Nancy Palmerton. He served 22 years and then worked civil service for another 20+ years. He passed away in his favorite place, sitting in his chair next to his dream, his racecar. His passions were baseball, racing, bowling, golf and his granddaughters. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Great Falls; sons Deniz (Juleen) Brus of Washington, John Brus of Great Falls, Joey (Terri) Palmerton of Dutton and Braden Brus of Oregon; daughter Misty Decker of Great Falls; two grandchildren; sisters Linda (Mike) Duffy, Marsha (Dave) Ashby and Rhonda Golden all of Davenport, Iowa. He is also survived by his ex-wife Birsen Tanisik. He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents. His memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel with reception to follow at his home.
