Terry Lee Woodson

July 13, 1947 — February 5, 2025

Terry Lee Woodson, age 77, of Fairfield, Montana passed away on February 05, 2025, after a sudden illness.

Terry was born in 1947 to William A. Woodson and Ruth A. Woodson in St. Louis, MO. Having grown up in Azusa, California, Terry graduated from Azusa High School in 1965, and he subsequently went on to work for SCE (So Cal Edison) as a mechanic. From there, he worked his way up to the position of surveyor and then into project management, retiring at the age of 50. Retirement did not last long as Terry started consulting as a Project Manager on various projects and ended up consulting once again for SCE. Terry finally retired for good in June of 2021 at the age of 72.

In retirement, Terry moved to Montana and spent his time raising his beloved chickens, three dogs, and two goats. Terry loved music and could name most artists, titles and albums within seconds of the song starting. He loved cars, boating, watching sports, and a nice cold beer or two with good friends and family.

Terry worked hard, played hard, laughed hard, and loved his family. His quick wit, sarcasm, and “Woodson Corn” will carry on in his family--all of which he taught us well.

He is survived by his eldest daughter, Alicia (Alan) Huddy; daughter, Amie Woodson; three grandchildren, Mason Woodson, Ginger Huddy, and Bristol Woodson-Yocum; brother, Tim Woodson, nephew, Jordi Woodson; plus, a great-niece; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, William Woodson; mother, Ruth Woodson; brother, Richard Woodson; and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held mid-July 2025, date and location TBA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PawsofWar.org in Terry’s honor.
