Thelma Grace Allison

Thelma Grace Allison, 81, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, both at Faith Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery. Thelma was born on November 19, 1940, in Reardan, Washington, where she was raised on a farm and also went to school. She attended cosmetology school in Spokane, where she met her lifelong love, Francis Allison. They married on June 19, 1966. Shortly after, they adopted a daughter, Melissa and a son, Kevin. After following his USAF career throughout the country, they decided to make Great Falls their permanent home. Thelma loved church, her family, and adored her dogs, “Yogi and Peaches.” Butterflies, owls, and anything with bears always brought a smile to her face. She loved doing crafts, flower gardening, and working in her yard. Alongside her husband, she was passionately involved in Boy Scouts as a Cub Scout Den Leader for almost 40 years. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Curt) Graves and grandchildren, Shanya and Harli. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; son, Kevin; one grandchild; parents and siblings. Memorials in Thelma’s name may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or the Boy Scouts of America.
