Thelma was born December 10, 1951 in Great Falls, MT to Carl and Marjorie Gladue. She attended local schools, Paris Gibson and graduated from Great Falls High. During Thelma’s working years, her favorite job was in the kitchen. Whether for friends, family or customers, she loved cooking great meals for all to enjoy. Thelma also worked for a time in silk screening. Thelma so enjoyed being creative- sewing, beading, or taking pictures. She also enjoyed spending time with friends, playing bingo, but most of all she loved her family. She had an active role in her grandchildren’s lives and that of her beloved family. Thelma is survived by her husband, Eugene D. Matt, of Cut Bank; daughters Susan J. Gladue LaMere, Mandy Stricker May and Anna Lockwood; sons Phillip Gladue, Michael Lockwood, Michael Barnaby Matt and Bill (Cec) Brown; siblings Marilyn Lynn, Sharon Gebhardt, Eugene Gladue, Anthony Gladue, Bruce Gladue, Robert Gladue, William Gladue, and Dale Gladue; and father Carl Gladue. She also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Marjorie; sister Patricia Lockwood; and brother William Narducci.
